New Office 365 Member Presented: StaffHub
StaffHub is a service for creating and managing schedules, and for the coordination of employees who often work in multi-shift operation and without access to a computer. Outdated equipment, like printed schedules or wall calendars, should become things of the past thanks StaffHub.
In the first place, StaffHub is providing a calendar function that superiors or team leaders can use in order to create schedules for their employees and send them to their smartphones. It is also possible to attach detailed information, documents, or even videos to a shift. A built-in chat function allows a direct communication between manager and employee. Employees can add additional information to their shifts on their own, or swap shifts with other colleagues. The StaffHub “home screen” provides a summary of upcoming shifts, other scheduled employees, and additional information. StaffHub can be accessed via the Web or mobile app for iOS or Android. An app for Windows 10 is still being awaited.
StaffHub is available to all Office 365 subscribers with Enterprise E1, E3 or E5, including the Education Edition or K1 plans. It is still open whether StaffHub also will be available for the Office 365 Business plans. Apart from this, Microsoft is planning to extend StaffHub to a workforce management by integrating in existing Services.
