Microsoft StaffHub is Being Replaced by Teams
Microsoft plans to discontinue the staff planning tool StaffHub from Office 365, which was only introduced at the beginning of last year and replace it with new functions within Microsoft teams.
StaffHub is aimed at companies that use a large number of field or direct-contact employees, most of whom do not have their own office equipment. A simple user interface can not only be used to create or edit rosters for employees, but the employees themselves can also use the service to coordinate or exchange shifts with each other. In the future, this functionality will be provided in Microsoft teams by the new Home and Shift apps.
According to current plans, Microsoft StaffHub will no longer be available for new Office 365 customers as of April 1, 2019 and the mobile apps for iOS and Android will be removed from the stores. As of October 1, 2019, Microsoft will completely discontinue the service.
