End of Skype for Business Online Announced

As Microsoft has now announced, Skype for Business Online will be finally discontinued on 31 July 2021 and will no longer be available after that date. Until then, however, the service will be unrestricted and new users can continue to be added.

The announcement only concerns the Skype for Business Online service. Instead, the software company will only provide Microsoft teams for chats, meetings and telephony for all new Office 365 customers.

The consumer service Skype and the Skype for Business Server for your own data center are not affected.
